PSHE Curriculum

  • All STEM activities rewritten as STEAM activities
  • Year 7: Students choose, research, and apply for a ‘real’ job from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
  • Years 7/8/9: Students create a personal employability skills profile, based on the skills needed to get a job at the company
  • Year 7: Students choose 2 of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Employability Skills and evidence their use of them.
  • Year 8: Students choose 4 of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Employability Skills and evidence their use of them.
  • Year 9: Students choose a time they did not succeed and work through it with the S.T.A.R. technique, used at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Business Studies Curriculum

  • Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is used as a real-world example in topics such as Quality Control, USP, Employment Processes, and Corporate Ethos
  • Classroom displays highlight the key traits and employability skills valued at the company
  • Learning from Teacher Encounters is used in every Business Studies lesson for students in Years 10/11/12/13.
